I got my friend this for her birthday,
I just purchased 100% natural ingredients mascara. I hope it works well. $18

I walked here and got a 10% discount.

I like to use any newspaper, the penny saver or magazine tear sheets to wrap presents. Why waste money and time going out to buy wrapping paper, when you can just use your mail, or dirty magazines from work?

I couldn’t decide between this tear sheet,
Wrapping paper for a friends birthday gift. I'm eco-friendly so I use old dirty magazine sheets as my wrapping paper. :)
or the one I used. I’m glad I made the right choice.
I also didn't use tape, I used a rubber band that came with my veggies from my CSA delivery.
It’s a butthole! haha I’ms funny. I also didn’t use tape, I used a rubber band that came with my veggies from my CSA delivery.

Yay for organic, local fresh food delivered straight to your door!

My first delivery!
My pussy-gato is curious.

My first delivery!

So much food, and so yummy!
All of the contents in the box.

Eco-living is so fabulous.

P.S. I haven’t had meat, including fish for eight days now. I’m not even trying, it’s really been that easy. If I did it for two years before, then eight days es nada.

Just last month Cleveland, Ohio had a meeting of the creative masses.
20 Musicians, 20 Artist and 20 Motivational Speakers lined up to put together WMC Fest. Weapons of Mass Creations Festival.
This project was brought to it’s community to inspire and drive their creativity. They started a kickstarter with $7,000 dollars as their goal and asked those who were willing to back their idea.

Here is their re cap video of 2011

Weapons of Mass Creation Fest 2011 from Weapons of Mass Creation on Vimeo.

This idea inspired me in many ways and I am really compelled to figure out how we can start something like this in Los Angeles.

I don’t even know where to start, but if anyone out there is just as interested in this idea we need to get our brains together and make it happen.

I still have plans to visit Ohio next year for this festival, and you should too!
So keep your eye on them and check their website, or twitter or facebook.

Be Inspired!

Every Naughty Girl and Gay Boys Dream

A good friend of mine is planning a trip to Thailand for 2 months, her eyes have been stuck to her computer for months, researching and planning her itinerary. While on the interweb she stumbled on this and emailed it to me. I loved it so much I felt obligated to share it with my fellow iSg readers. I thought it was only fitting:D

Hidden in the Nai Lert Park Hotel of Bangkok Thailand is a shrine covered in many different colors, shapes and sizes of penises.
This shrine was orignally built for Chao Mae Tuptim The Goddess of fertility, worshippers offered to her wreaths of snow-white jasmine flowers, incense sticks with pink and white lotus buds in hopes of birthing a child.

There is a story from many years ago, that tells of a woman who prayed at the shrine asking for help from Chao Tuptim. she left her offerings to the Goddess and within time she gave birth to a healthy son. As a way of thanking The Goddess, she placed a large wooden carving of a giant phallus in front of the shrine. Since then, others have followed in her lead, praying for help with fertility leaving their offerings of penis carvings and fragrant flowers.

Touch it,

Veggie For A Day

Meatless Mondays is a non profit campaign to help reduce your meat consumption by at least 15%, to better your eating habits and help the planet too.

By cutting out just a little meat from your diet you can help reduce the risk of chronic illnesses like cancer, Cardiovascular disease, diabetes and obesity. It also helps reduce your carbon footprint and saves important resources like water.

It takes 1,800 – 2,500 gallons of water to make 1 pound of ground beef. 1/5 of the green gas emissions are made by the meat industry.
Don’t forget those poor helpless creatures living in horrid conditions and being murdered to feed our already fat bellies!

Sodexo is a catering company who provides already made food to Schools, Corporate Offices and Hospitals.

Who has also joined the meatless movement? Celebrities like Olivia Wild, Kate Moss, Gwyneth Paltrow and Sir Paul McCarthey have committed to Meatless Mondays also. Even Oprah has joined in on healthy food options and has begun offering Vegan options to her employees at Harpo Studios.

Now I’m not saying to stop eating meat entirely because I love a good juicy burger as much as the next person and lord knows I could eat sushi everyday all day, but imagine the difference it would make for your health, for the animals and for your planet if everyone stopped eating so much meat in excess???

Meatless Web
Check it out for yourself, Do some research and take a look at some of these healthy recipe options you might find something that stimulates your taste buds!

BUT FIRST! a message from ZEBEK!
Please PLEASE PLEASE click on this-
Why is there no looting in Japan?
(Thank you RLO for sending me this- so interesting! i cant stop thinking about it…)

Does anyone remember Junior high health class and those horrific photos of genitals covered in warts and nasty slimy goo??

I’ve heard they cut some of the sex ed programs in some schools. What a shame, I will forever be grateful for those.
They scared the living shit out of me and made me want to wear a chastity belt till I was married!!
Thankfully for us we had classes to teach us about sexual health, and free clinics with health care and all the condoms you could ask for.

But other countries aren’t quite as lucky.
Meet Sir Richard’s: A philanthropic contraceptive company on a mission to help spread the importance of safe protected sex world wide.

” Doing Good, Never Felt Better” is the slogan that Sir Richards lives by.

These Vegan condoms ( that’s right I said it VEGAN) come in different sizes and textures like Ribbed, Pleasure Dots, and Ultra Thin.
“Buy One, Give one”, for every one condom that is purchased Sir Richards will donate to one to a country in need.

The cost of condoms has risen so high that less than 10% of the global demands for free condoms are met.
In less developed countries 5-6% of contraceptive users choose to use condoms when they “can afford” them,
in other countries like Somalia condom use is illegal.

With hopes to spread around the world, Sir Richards is currently working very closely with Partners in Health to help & educate the people of Haiti.
Join Sir Richards in making love and spreading love. Go check out there web store and buy a box or two.

Protect yourself and protect the world.

Save your Bras for the Construction Workers

Who doesn’t love some sexy lingerie?
Women love going shopping for it, and Men love tearing it off:D

I read that most bras and under garments are the hardest to recycle.
Mainly because bras and lingerie are made of so many different materials and are hard to dispose of.
I’ve also heard the best way of recycling bras is to give them to the less fortunate women who can’t afford the support in other countries.
But have you ever heard of recycling bras to create sound proofing insulation for construction ?

Sandro Veronesi, president of Italian lingerie company Calzedonia Group which owns a well known eco-friendly lingerie store called Intimissimi has joined forces with Ovat Campagnari, a company that specializes in recycling and disposing of textile waste. Together they organized a 6 week campaign to collect everyone’s unwanted under garments with the task of breaking down your old bras and turning them into sound proofing insulation. Though they are just in the the beginning stages they are hoping this will continue and possibly spark other companies to follow in their footsteps.

Whether this is just an experiment or if it might prove to have a positive outcome, one thing is for sure- it’s great to see everyone around the world being cautious of how we dispose of our unwanted items.
