My birthday is in exactly one month.

I’m obsessed with birthdays because they are the day we came to be. I love birthdays! I think it’s sad when people don’t care about their birthdays. There’s nothing wrong with celebrating yourself, you only have to do it once a year, so why not go all out? I’m not great with other people’s birthdays, but I do a decent job with my own.

Last year was fun. I danced, I cried, and I took a friend’s suggestion to have it at a Cuban restaurant. All was well until the bill came. I cannot wait until the day arrives in which I can just pick up the tab for everyone. Me and a few friends over paid because so many people in my group are awful at math.

Veggie Oil Fuel

The first person that introduced me to veggie fueled vehicles was Tyson Jerry. Tyson and Cloe found me through while they were working on achieving the Guinness World Record for the longest distance traveled on alternative fuel.

only 2 people fit in this van legally because there are only 2 seat belts.

The awesome veggie van from japan.

Welcome to Los Angeles!

NOW, my girlfriends, THE GODDESS PROJECT are making their way back home to Los Angeles in their veggie fueled bus!

The girls need help finding WVO, (non-hydrogenated) Waste Vegetable Oil.
“We need for it to be any sort of vegetable oil as long as it’s non-hydrogenated! Also if you can find some pre-filtered from biodiesel companies or people that stock pile it for their own personal use that would be best.”-Sara Landas
If you have any leads and can hook the girls up, please contact the girls ASAP. :)

If all you have is money, that works too! Please help fund The Goddess Project!

Tyson, Sara, and Holli showed me how traveling can be done for cheap/free, and with less of a negative impact on the world. I want a to convert my car to run on veggie fuel. After I pay my car off in a few years, I’m going to physically work on converting my own engine with a specialized mechanic, to run off of veggie fuel.

It feels so good to be in menstrual pain. I love that my ovaries and uterus have me confined to my bed, and occasionally they let me escape to the couch. ♥ The female body is amazing.

You may have already seen this on le zine,

No one would ever know that I was menstruating unless I talked about it. Or unless you’re around me enough, I turn into a mega bitch (it comes so natural to me during this time.) Oh and my bosom’s are heavier, always pretty though. There’s also no evidence in any bathroom trash can because I use the reusable Diva Cup! I love being a woman.

Happy Earth Day! From me and my diva cup. :)

Hatfield’s Review

Sunday, November 6th, 2011

Posted by: ZeBekgarbage

I had a great weekend, packing, planning, and prepping for my South East Asia trip, oh and eating at fancy restaurants and watching a ton of movies, mostly from the 80’s.

Here are just a few photos I took at Hatfield’s Restaurant.
Located at 6703 Melrose Avenue Los Angeles, CA 90038.
This place was a part of 10 Best New Restaurants in America by
bon appétit, magazine, 2010.
Yummy Vino, now time to choose some foods.

Their version of Tres Leches Cake

I loved the ambiance, our waiter was excellent, but the host totally forgot about us. I had to give her the stink eye to spark her memory. In the end they gave us a free glass of dessert wine so I guess it was fine, dining. The food was yummy, not incredible but more than just edible. The portions were very small, yet still filling. I would return here, but I think I’d prefer to try other new (to me) restaurants first. I am glad I can check this place off my list. I give it 7 out of 10 stars.

Yesterday I received my September 2011 issue of bon appétit magazine, The Restaurant Issue featuring America’s Top 10 tables.

I was excited to learn that I have visited the #2 listed restaurant for this issues, “The Foodists Top 10 Best New Restaurants of 2011.”

Mission Chinese Food, in San Francisco, CA.

My friend Ravi knows all the yummy food spots, pretty much everywhere in the world. So while we’re walking in San Francisco thinking of what to eat for breakfast (it’s 1:30pm) he suggest we go to this Chinese spot. In my head I’m thinking hmmm, I don’t know… because I pictured a mom and pop style Panda Express, something I wasn’t into at the moment. But this dude has food on lock, he knows whats up so I try not to question him, when it comes to food. Anyway, so we get there and he just orders up a storm for us to share, food I’ve never tried or thought to try, but you know me, I welcome new flavors to ze mouth.

Click on de photo to read my little notes.
We ordered up a storm. To the right you are looking at a flavorful tiger salad.

Ravi said we were lucky there was no line when we got there. The service isn’t A+, and the spot is not all romantical and shit, but you can definitely feel the clean good food vibes and its not too expensive, cash only. One of the chefs was tatted up, and looked a little punk rock, they also had what looked like moms and grandmas and poppas working there. The food was so different from anything I’ve tried, been around the world and I, Iiii, but I have not had asian food like this, as I have not yet hit the Asias.
When you go to San Francisco definitely make it a point to try this spot. I really enjoyed the tingly lamb noodle soup as pictured in the magazine, and my photo, oh! and that tiger salad in my photo, also a must try. P.S. Everything was pretty spicy. I am training for the spice. teehee

San Francisco, CA 94110
Neighborhood: Mission

I’m hungry now.

Keep in mind that I am not saying that this is the #2 restaurant on my list. Unfortunately I was not paid to travel to 250 restaurants around the United States, like Andrew Knowlton was for this issue, but I still recommend Mission Chinese Food if you’re in San Francisco, California and if you like trying new foods, annnd you don’t mind spicy.

Okay, so last thing-
I was also excited to learn that I can try one other restaurant on this list because its located in Los Angeles. Yeeeeeeaaay.
